Product Description The Giant Delivery basket is one of the most enduring and iconic products in our catalog. Popular among messengers and paperboys (feel free to ask your father or grandfather about this noble profession), this basket is designed to carry large loads thanks to its stout legs, cargo bands, and heavy duty handlebar clamps. Three holes are provided at the bottom of the legs and spaced at 13.25, 14.25, and 15.25 inches (measured center-to-center of bracket pin to axle mount) to provide multiple mounting options. Available in plated (157B) and gloss black (157GB) finishes. Dimensions: 21 x 15 x 9 inches.

High Quality Giant June 9, 2009 George Knowles (Boulder Junction, WI) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We own three of these Giant baskets. Two are mounted on the rear of our recumbent trikes and one traditionally mounted on the front of a Trek Comfort bike.
Wald baskets are unsurpassed for strength and quality construction. The braces and mounting hardware are exceptionally robust and built to last. If you need a huge, strong basket to carry bulky, heavy loads like books, groceries, newspapers, dogs or even cement blocks! --- This is it.

I AM A FIELD SERVICE TECH IN A SMALL RESORT TOWN WHERE PARKING IS AT A PREMIUM.I HAVE THE WALD #157 BASKET ALONG WITH WALD'S LARGE REAR BASKET #535 ON A 26" MOUNTAIN BIKE.I HAVE NO PROBLEM TRANSPORTING A FULL SIZE DESKTOP PC OR CASH REGISTER WITH THESE BASKETS.I OFTEN CARRY 8+ BAGS OF GROCERIES AS WELL.THESE BASKETS ARE VERY STURDY AND A BIT ON THE HEAVY SIDE.GREAT FOR LOCAL RIDES OF 10 MILES OR LESS.DEFINITELY NOT TOURING ITEMS.EFFECTIVELY THESE BASKETS TRANSFORM A BIKE INTO A MICRO TRUCK!IT IS NOT DIFFICULT TO MODIFY THE #157 BASKET TO MOUNT ON SPRING SUSPENSION FORKS.

As a photographer, I can put my camera bag in there and ride safely.
It's strong and it's sturdy
professional's choice November 21, 2009 Lon Cook (San Francisco, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These have been, and will continue to be, the go to choice for the bike messenger looking to do some real cargo. I rocked one of these (ok, I went through a couple) for several years before switching to a CETMA rack. I'd also use it for grocery shopping; fits three full paper grocery bags side-by-side.
